ye olde update
just wanted to fill errrbody in on what’s goin down in the world of l&p.
our tour was super dope, we can’t wait to do it again sometime very soon.
::: NEW RELEASE: TAPE “SPLIT” :::
lately we’ve been doing a LOT of home recording, and plan to release it on a tape “split”. basically, we’ve been buying up SHITLOADS of mixtapes at thrift stores, or anything that’s on a “blank” tape that’s been recorded.
Side A will be us, and Side B will be whatever happened to be on that tape. We are preserving original artwork (on one side) and liner notes, making each one of these tapes completely a one-of-a-kind glimpse into the souls of whomever pressed that circular red button..
so far we’ve got: sermons, self-help, kenny g, greatful dead bootlegs, old patriotic anthems, etc, etc, etc.
artwork for our side will be supplied by mr. joseph patton, an old colleague who does incredible pen drawings, and each purchase will include a free HIGH QUALITY digital download of our side (A).

We are in talks with a very reputable local recording engineer and hope to lock down some dates real soon, so that we can have a super pro, smooth as shit EP or full length to release later on this year or in early 2010 (weird).

2 posted, and one more to come. Soft Fest is gonna be killer, so excited to be playing with everyone, esp. Lesser Gonzalez and Soft Cat (everyone else is amazing too)
